This Past Weekend~~Halloween Things & Brett Kissel

You know when you walk outside in the early morning and you can feel and smell the season? Just completely reminds you of Fall and Winter. That's what it's like here most mornings now. Max seems to be enjoying that a lot.

So, let's get into my weekend. We can probably skip Friday because Friday I had a night exam.

Saturday was slightly more exciting. After an 8 hour work day, I got to go to a friends house and play Cards Aganist Humanity (awesome game if you haven't played it yet). And we drank and ate unhealthy things and it was good. It was a nice way to spend my Saturday night.

Sunday was work again. However, I got off much earlier at 1 pm so that's kind of still the whole day left. I did some things around the house and got ready. Then it was Sunday Night Date Night. Myself and Jake went out and bought some pumpkins for future carving. We then headed to Cineplex to see Hotel Transylvania2! I've been so excited for this movie and it was pretty good, not as good as I thought it would be, but it was a very cute movie to watch.

Monday , although not the weekend, I'm including it anyway. So, I had class Monday, but after class we headed to the Holy Heart Theatre to see Brett Kissel & Jordan  McIntosh. It was such a good concert. Jordan played some of his awesome songs and he sings some of his covers like he 1D one he had done with Georoge Canyon and Hey Yall! Which was awesome! He was a very fun performer and has gotten even better since I saw him in Cavendish last year.
Then Brett Kissel came on! He is so good. Such a great performer! He played so many of his fantastic songs & was hilarious. He was also so sweet when he sang a song in tribute to his mother, "I didn't fall in love with your hair". He came down to the lady in the audience, who is going through chemo therapy, and gave her a brand new Gibson guitar and signed it for her. Everyone was in tears.
He then had Jordan screeched in. If you're not familiar with the custom it's a little funny to do with mainlanders who want to become honorary Newfoundlanders.  The process involves recitation, drinking a shot of Newfoundland Screech Rum, and kissing a cod fish. Kinda of a weird process, but it's hilarious to watch. It was very funny since Jordan couldn't even understand what the guy was asking him.
Then on with the last of the concert with 3-2-1 and a country music mashup which was excellent! It was such a fun concert and I really liked how it was in a smaller theatre instead of mile one. It made the concert much more intimate and personally. He also stayed two hours after the show getting pictures and selfies with everyone who wanted one! I know we didn't get out till after 12! Overall, it was a great concert and I hope they both decide to come to Newfoundland again.

So, that's my weekend. How was your weekend? Would love to hear about it!
