So, my summer makeup look is pretty simple.
I tone & moisturize my face first and then once that's dry I use the Smashbox Photo Finish Color Correcting primer. Mine is clearly almost gone and I need a new one soon.
Next I use the color correcting concealer palette from NYX. I usually use the purple to cover the yellowish tone above my eyes and the salmon color to cover up my dark circles. I will normally then put the green over any red blemishes that weren't dulled with the primer.
Next I move to foundation. Lately, I've been using the Maybeline Fit me in hydrate and smooth since my skin has been so dry. I normally apply this with a blender sponge and put this all over my face and neck. Although, on lazy days I will normally skip this part.
After that I move on to my fair CoverGirl Ready Set Gorgeous Concealer. This is a tad shade lighter than my normal skin color and I use this on any bumps that seem to not want to fade and around my eyes and cupids bow. Essentially like a highlighter.
I will then set all of that with CoverGirl Clean Matte foundation. Just a small amount to set it all in place.
I will then move up to my eyebrows. I've never gotten my eyebrows done, but I love using the Maybeline Brow define + fill duo pencil. It has a pencil on one side and a sponge powder thing on the other. This is great and helps my natural eyebrows look a little better.
I will give a quick little curl to my lashes and add the benefit They're Real mascara.
I've also been adding occasionally a small amount of the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Dim Light. I've been using it as a highlight as well as all over for a kind of glowing look.
On days with sun I will normally add a little bit of Benefit Hula bronzer and some benefit dandelion to my cheeks from my Real Cheeky Party set which has like all of the blushes, bronzers, what's up highlight
I will normally then pick a pink lip color and I'm good to go. For today I went with Kate Moss in 17.
I will then add a finishing spray if I need the makeup to last all day.
Simple makeup look for the summer for sure.
What is your summer makeup look?
